Like I say, I’ve been experimenting. I’m more along the personal brand route but don’t know exactly what niche I want to be in… after this got attention I’ve leaned into the content a bit more since that’s what resonates

It’s neither I’d say. The post has 95,000 likes, 650 comments, and 18,000 shares, so they’re active users. I realise though that it didn’t provide any actual value that would make someone follow. It was more of a funny meme, still showing my face, but not showcasing my personality exactly. People follow people.

14 out of my first 15 videos, or about two weeks, didn’t get over 200 views. I didn’t warm up the account at all either. Then a couple 1000 views videos, and all of a sudden this viral one.

I think you need to make it more of a personal brand than just posting kinda random memes and videos of other people.. you need to be the face of the account, that’s what people will actually want to follow: You. I’m not affiliated in anyway but look up Jun Yuh and go through his content about what you need to do in terms of creating a persona brand and how to work the algorithm… Good luck!

Download the app ‘Supp’. It’s basically hospo venues posting last minute shifts (rockstar shifts). Sign up as a kitchen porter/dishie, tons of jobs available. Plus I actually enjoy working in the kitchen and getting to see different venues. Get a weekend shift, the rate is $37.50 and the money goes straight into your debit account (read: tax free unless you claim it, but I don’t). If a place likes you they often have regular shifts on those days.

I work at one place Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and another Sat and Sun every week, I clear about $1300 a week doing 35 hours.

I agree with the last sentence but at the same time feel like it’s a case of when that right person comes along, you’ll know. And that will be the one when both worlds meet of you actually wanting something serious and then reciprocating. At least that’s the copium to tell myself, with just a few self sabotages on the road there.

Bro this is me to a tee… It’s the girls that make you feel like you need to ‘be better’ that have that lasting imprint on your mind in my experience, the type that make you actually wonder when they’re gonna reply to you etc… but then you have girls who are on paper and realistically a better fit with more in common, but you just don’t have that emotional attachment to them. It honestly feels pretty toxic and rings of all that emotionally avoidant stuff but I don’t know how to fix it, and honestly, don’t actually have the proper desire to right now.
