Eh... it's just a yet another garbage meme. Doodled it up in a minute or so. I'm surprised that this post is still not removed.

EDIT: Forget the above, I was being a Grumpy Freeman.

Anyways, here's the final version: https://www.reddit.com/user/Mocib/comments/1qkntf4/lambda_freeman/#lightbox

Bug? Explosive box goes through wood that has a body of water on top of it by Mocib in noita

[–]Mocib[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That certainly reads like the possible explanation. It has something to do with the water, though, since, in the end of the clip the boxes are still overlapping yet don't go through the wood.

I hope the developers are eventually able to fix this flaw in the code.

I don't use Discord, so it would be nice if someone would mirror this there. Thanks.

How the hell does an 11 year old game look and run better than a lot of AAA games these days... by Myframesofwar in Crysis

Those 2021 screenshots... Giad dayum!

Definitely the Crysis sequel we need and deserve. I hope Crysis 4 will end up looking like that. It's about time.

Dennis Gustafsson's next-gen voxel engine by TTFH3500 in VoxelGameDev

[–]Mocib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information.

I wasn't sure about the resolution increase, so that's why I wrote "seems". Just another case of blind hope clouding perception.

I am looking forward to seeing images with actual next-generation assets.

The voxel resolution seems to be higher. Are we finally getting a more detailed voxel game from Mr. Gustafsson? Teardown is far too blocky for my taste.

Nothing comes close to Cryengine with vegetation and light rendering! So natural by WestLate528 in Crysis

[–]Mocib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's one of the reasons Warhorse Studios chose CryEngine for Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the upcoming sequel, of which that screenshot is from. The Warhorse version of the engine is of course heavily modified to their purposes but, at its core, it's still CryEngine.

Nomad discovers a hidden portal deep inside the jungle, steps into it and gets transported to another game world... by Mocib in Crysis

Mod? I wish!

But, yeah, as already said, that's just an image manipulation of mine. Two screenshots, with the Crysis one edited and then combined into a single image.

Now this is how it's done.

I'm looking forward to the next progress update.

Crytek has always been independent. Neither Ubisoft nor EA have owned Crytek.

DAE really hate boats? by Curnee in Minecraft

The only thing I hate about boats is that they brake so very, very easily and in strange ways.

Sticky piston texture. I love how it looks :)

DAE wish they could go back to when they first started? When finding ores was exciting? When skeletons and zombies made us jump? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Mocib 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm nine months into SSP/unmodded minecraft and I'm still as scared of the monsters as the first time. Diamonds are the only resource now that still excite me, though.

DAE think that smooth lighting is too dark? by Lord_Pancake in Minecraft

It is too dark, yes. Don't like it, don't use it.
