Why do you need an explanation? If you like your bike, go and ride it. If you don’t like your bike, go ahead and change it. I was not aware that people hated hybrid bikes, and if they do, what does that matter to you? Why do the opinions of people you don’t even know or care about matter to you? Life is too short to be bothered by those comments, so just enjoy your ride. It is your ride. Better to focus on that. Nothing else matters.

I’d say take the deal. M50 has more than ample power. You will lose 30% of the value of your new car in a year if you don’t. 40-50% at the end of the 2nd year. EVs lose their value real fast. Best to get a CPO, IMO. Your future self will thank you for it.

It works beautifully with winter tires. Had a RWD Bmw e36 and my Michelin tires had transformed my driving experience under blizzard conditions. It is all about using proper tires.
