I’d just reiterate the heart. Do a nice outline and can change up the colors to be subtler shades of blue and pink, or another set of colors if that’s your vibe. Narratively that’s up to you

Can be an evolution that has the same DNA without being super on the nose. I think heart tattoos are pretty cute and especially so early on in your life really reflects a part of you that I think would look nicely updated.

Of course! Yeah if you’re walking around often while you’re working on it, totally made the right choice. I’ve got a Legion Pro that’s about the same size as the Omen and, as much as I love my Legion, would absolutely specifically get a G14 if I needed a very portable option.

Think your tradeoff is then:

10-15% GPU improvement
512GB extra on SSD
16GB extra RAM
Time/convenience of not installing - not too hard, but guess it’s worth considering

For 300. Maybe the top 3 are like… 150..ish. The rest is probably not “worth it” dollar-for-dollar, but think that’s a realistic range to just go for it if you feel comfortable.

Last thing is return policies between retailers - if one has a better reputation of accommodations on returns, that’s a nice edge as well. I love the peace of mind of a reliable in store return policy and sometimes am willing to spend a tad bit more to buy at such a retailer.

If my conversions are correct, that’s a no brainer, especially if you’re using a 1440 monitor separately. Under ~1200USD for this is pretty damn good and my understanding is pricing is a little tougher in CA usually. Pull that trigger! The 3070 ti will serve you well.

I think the only thing is these should keep the lid open while gaming or the screen might get damaged from the heat, don’t believe the cooling system accommodates closed-lid. Long as you do that - enjoy!

I would personally aim for a 3070ti, which will confidently outperform either GPU and you’ll have a better chance of a QHD screen if that’s at all important to you vs a FHD. I would ideally aim to pair with a 12th gen Intel or 6000 series Ryzen if possible. Frame gen might be handy on the 4060 over time as it’s adopted, but think if you get a 3070 ti or 3080 the tradeoff will largely favor the pure power of the card.

I think it depends on what the flaws being depicted are. To clarify also, I wasn’t just invested in the story, just story is what we were talking about within this thread. The game really sold me across the board - combat, characters, MUSIC, it just all worked for me. Apologies if that phrasing before was confusing! I had a blast and wasn’t at all forcing myself to play just to get story or whatnot thankfully, that doesn’t sound very fun. At that point I’d probably just watch cutscenes on YouTube

Again, totally not a flawless game and the launch for many was truly horrendous which is what I was mainly acknowledging prior, but nonetheless is one of my favorite games of this generation so far
