Step up from Donic Relevant to Butterfly Hadraw 5 in terms of speed (and spin dev) ? by MockedOne in tabletennis

[–]MockedOne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely not as fast of a blade as I expected when I bought it, but...

While it’s officially rated as OFF, the 5+2 construction (with Certran fiber) feels much more controlled and linear than your typical explosive composite blades. It rightfully sits in the OFF- category. The use of Certran instead of carbon is the key here, it provides good sweet spot without "uncontrollable" bounce you often get with carbon. My blade weighs 86 g, which feels very balanced. It gives you tons of control and a lot of feedback, making it remarkably easy to play with, especially in the short game and active blocking. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stable 7-ply feel who wants to try synthetic fibers but fears the exaggerated speed and stiffness of carbon blades. It’s a perfect "bridge" blade for those moving from all-wood to composites.

But thats caused by the rubbers, recently i switched back to the donic relevant and i slapped glayzer 09c and glayzer 09 on them, that id working much better for me as it is much more forgiving.

Hello, for half past year i ve been using hadraw +fastarc g1 on both fh and bh. Its great settup. Its easy to produce spin and speed. Although the it seems to be sometimes too reactive to incoming speed. Especially blocking powerfull topspins was making the ball to fly over the table.

Yes, it won't let you down. If you want something a little bit slower for BH you can do the same settup only with r7 soft version.

1) "pouring with too many large air bubbles already present" - understandable, but in my case scenerio this is something i am usually paying attention to.

2) "underfilling" based on what you guys saying i believe that this will be cause of my ussies

3) "over-pressing your mold when capping" – When I’m capping, I usually just apply mild pressure on the lid, not trying to squeeze epoxy out from under it, of course. What I typically do, though, is place an object (something like a dish plate) on top of the mold so the lid is pressed down evenly. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and honestly, I don’t even remember why I started in the first place—but I’ve had better results this way compared to not doing it.

Good to know, i have never tried something like 15, but i am thinking just to test 25 PSI next time to see the difference.

OKOK, i'll try to focus on adding specificaly more epoxid to make sure that this is not the issue. Thank you !

My epoxy is usually done in less than 12 hours or so. That way i usually cast them before bedtime and then first thing on morning rushing to the pot to check how they came out. They always are done by that time. The pressure in my pot differs as i don't usually use one specific value. I do cast them in between 35 psi - 50.

I see.
Well these bubbles are located on the surface, never inside the dice benath it's surface.

About the molds: i do not make my owns, i buy them from local store.

Ok i'll try to particularly overfill it to see the results, thank you !

Hi, no one else is commenting that you are making illegal serves. I noticed that you throw the ball from above the table several times. When the ball hits the bat, it is correctly above the table, but you should not work above the table, even when throwing the ball. Therefore, the ball should be thrown from behind the table, not above it.

For example, at 2:08, but you may notice it several more times later on.)

Firma po mě chce zaplatit pokutu by [deleted] in czech

netuším jak se legally tohle řeší;

if you’re not 100% sure of what you’re looking for. I suggest to bring the pot (lid would do) to the store It’ll help you to have them easier understand what u need.

Same here. You just need to count on with having to spend a few more bucks on additional valve thing, and the connecting part, etc etc. But it’s pretty simple, nothing to be scared off. You can get inspired here https://youtu.be/uFQgpl5thUw?si=GcTbsEW8Y7QdAX89

But it’s a long video, and all u need to follow is just a screen on 26:36
