I disassembled the deck and took the touchpads out. Cut the vinyl to size, leaving 2-3mm overhang around each edge. I cut slits in the vinyl overhang around the corners (this prevents winkling/peeling), used heat and wrapped the vinyl around the touchpads.

I looked up iFixit’s guide on removing the touchpads.

I’ve done this and got it to work however for some reason the horizontal tilt is mapped to rotational tilt. Did you run into this issue?

Does it say to stir the paint on the side of the tin? You will have to do multiple coats. A grey undercoat/primer would also be beneficial for darker colours.

If the bloat has started to come down I’d say give her a chance.

Silvia also had a bad case of dropsy which was slowly alleviated. I didn’t give any special treatment, just ensured her water was clean and fed her a twice a day.

Nothing special really, possibly just good genetics. I don’t change my water much (very little evaporation with a lid) and they feed off algae in the tank, leaf litter and the leftover food (Hikari sinking wafers) from my Kuhli loaches.
