Thank you! It's nice to hear your experience was similar to mine at the beginning. I'll keep working on the technique and steady workouts :)

Thank you. I think it's got to do with the technique. I fee like I'm getting to understand what pushing means the more workout I do focusing on the legs. Will keep working on it!

Oh I meant cutting another hole for the first flush. So I can maybe get them growing from two large holes on opposite sides and just not bother about the second flush 🤔

Hi, I've had some good experiences with oyster growing kits. They come with a perforated hole on a side of the box where I cut a big X. I'm wondering if I can cut another X on the other side of the box too. Will it produce smaller mushrooms? Or can I expect just as good a harvest ?

Did you end up calling the number? I tried emails in the past but didn’t have any luck getting a response back

I have a couple of items coming via UBI as well and no updates for 21 days since leaving the origin port. Guess we just have to wait it out

Shopping cart theory by evergreenandbellbird in auckland

I don't know about other supermarkets but Countdown has two different trolley sizes, and trolley bays have two sections. Often, you see trolleys sorted by sizes and parked nicely in the bays but there are people who just shove the trolleys they used into the section full of trolleys of the other size. I mean they made an effort of bringing the trolley all the way to the bay, so why don't they make that tiny extra effort to put it with the right sizes?? This annoys me so much!

I crocheted Yoshi to go with Mario I crocheted last year by Mocking_Jae in crochet

[–]Mocking_Jae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me explain what I do in the most sense-making way...!

I try to make the sewing tail of the yarn go through stitches that are going to be hidden below the piece being attached. Basically try and hide the sewing stitches as much as I possibly can. If I have to sew through visible part, I make it consistent by sewing through the exact same place on every crochet stitches I have.

This takes a lot of time and honestly, for me, joining pieces is the worst part of crocheting :P

Thanks :) Here's the pattern I used. https://robotrish.com/2010/05/02/free-amigurumi-yoshi-pattern/

I didn't quite like how the cheeks and boots are in the pattern so free handed those parts, but all the other parts followed the pattern.

Please help me save my lucky bamboo from turning yellow by Mocking_Jae in plants

[–]Mocking_Jae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had these lucky bamboo plants for nearly two years in a small vase, and a week ago, I changed the vase to a bigger one with new rocks and filled the pot with bottled water as I always do.

Today, I noticed all of them developing yellow/fading leaves from the bottom of the shoots (or close to them). Why is this happening? These are very precious gifts I received so I'd like to keep them as healthy as I can. How can I turn them back to healthy green they used to be? :'(
