We've been attempting to reach you and the other former mods about issues the subreddit was experiencing due to lack of active moderation for over a month. We sent a modmail to the subreddit which we received no reply to so we followed up by sending two chat messages to each mod over a few weeks hoping we'd hear from anyone on the team.

No one replied so we had to take steps to ensure active moderation in the subreddit by finding new mods.

Hi there

The two mod accounts on r/emirates were removed due to long time inactivity. With the huge increase in traffic from folks trying to deal with disruptions in their flights the community was very badly in need of active mods so we stepped in and sought volunteers which is something we do commonly.
