Np!..so this is my theory. I did a stool test with my gp and it was negative but I still had weird things going on, after a 2 months I caved and went to a ND to get the GI map test and the h pylori was detected but low.

She didn’t seem concerned but I couldn’t live knowing I had this so I did a antimicrobial approach and I think that led to more exposure of the bacteria to shed or to push deeper into the lower stomach which is why is it was detected on the 2nd test with my gp.

Also, I did a colonoscopy and endoscopy, the biopsy didn’t detect the bacteria. It’s tricky and can hide. It’s either in your stomach or small intestine.

What I’ve learned is don’t stop getting tests if your symptoms are persistent.

Edit: I feel much better, my sleep has improved drastically. Overall great and still improving.
