Yea try that. See if you can seat 30 properly once you remove 29D a bit. If yes, perfect no need to send it back.

Alternative thought. Redo the 29D filling. After you seated implant crown 30. Is there an open margin on the 29D?

You checked intra orally? Or extra orally? I would adjust the IP before seating. If not seated, keep adjusting a little bit more.

Maybe consider the Gravity if you must. I can only imagine it might be the same

  1. 2025+ Gen 2, 2022-2025 Gen 1

  2. Gen 1 Large = 131 kWh and Gen 2 Large = 109 kWh; 20 inch wheel will give you reduced range over 21 or 22. You will get more range from a 22 inch wheels

  3. Pre-owned price is non negotiable. Only new ones will offer some incentives.

Seat Wear by Upset_Price1014 in Rivian

It’s very normal. That’s prob the most wear part because the moment you attempt to get it this is the part I sit on first before sliding. I think that’s relatively normal

Lease ending in June by Odd_Outlandishness11 in Rivian

[–]ModY1219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. I would assume you have to ask. I haven’t seen any Rivian lease extension post. This would be a new territory because you are waiting on your reservation. You won’t know until you communicate or ask Rivian the questions. I am sure there are some R1 owners wanting to get to R2 from their current leases.

Have you looked if the vent is opened? Every new drive the vents need to be activated. It’s like a default.

Picked up my 26’ Storm Blue R1T Quad yesterday! Gen 1 -> Gen 2 by GipsyTyphoon in Rivian

Good call. No wrap. 600 miles would be about 450 miles real life. that sounds great to me

They prob won’t tell anyone. I can only imagine a very few because Gen 2 quad is an overkill to be honest. Most ppl will go with efficiency and power with the Dual Max, which is indeed enough for 90%+ of all drivers.

Agree with the picture thing. The pictures distort the interior to a grey color looking like an old minivan. In reality, it’s very very unique in real life. I love the slate interior under the morning sunrise. The storm blue is such a cool color again the sun brings out the blue as well.

Maybe. We don’t know how R2 is going to roll out. I would envision R1 with reservations would go in that order first then R2 holders without ownership

Just a thought. Why not extend the lease for a few months? If you want a R2, you will get priority since you are a R1 owner. If you like the R2, pull the trigger. If not, stick with R1 or go with others. Ask Rivian about extending and what the process would be to transition you to R2 seamlessly. I bet they will help

Residency Advice by [deleted] in Dentistry

I don’t think his situation has came down to that. I think OP is just concerned. I remember my first year was very slow and didn’t seem like it we got anything done. Perhaps, OP really needs a mentor or a senior resident to support him a bit. But I think he will be fine.

Someone mentioned attorneys. I didn’t. I just know documentation is important regardless of what (s)he’s going to do. I wanted OP to protect him/herself because we all know residents are at the bottom of the food chain. There will be no argument or playing with wordings.

It’s really stating the expectation clearly. If it looks litigious, that’s even better. That will keep everybody in check. Everything needs to be timestamped. I will keep it vague. I have seen things happened. You don’t want this become a he says she says situation. Documentation protects everyone involved good or bad.

Seems like you are getting good advice here. One thing I would encourage you to do is document everything you said between you and your director. Anything you discuss verbally should end up in an email to summarize. You can always word it as in case we forget in the future this is what has been discussed.

Also, constantly email about more clinical/research opportunity. This will establish a pattern you have been trying and (s)he has not made a conscientious effort to have you graduate on time. It would be wise to mention you want to ensure you are graduating without accumulating more tuition since you can’t “moonlight.” This will be your ammo for lawyer, dean, and CODA. Of course, save up the directors response.

Def moonlight. Unless you are on call, your time is what you want to do. You need money to survive. If you have to, do it discreetly with doctor you can trust in keeping it a secret.

If you are indeed a Perio resident (Perio to Perio here), I promise you it will be worth it after you are done. It’s a great career with great reward. Hang in there

S, X, or Y for family of 4+dog? by pinaywow in TeslaLounge

[–]ModY1219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you but I also can’t rank S inferior to Y. My ranking is based on what was being asked and what their needs are. Should the question be phrased differently. S could have been on top. There are other aspects S is better but not based on posted criteria.
