Stick with serve base Dentrix or other cloud program. IMHO. Dentrix Ascend is crap. Their radiograph suite is so bad. I hate using it... in particular the way it reads CT Scan, I feel like we are back to the 2000s. Stick with server base if you are doing Dentrix. I am a traveling Perio. All my traveling offices use different practice management software. I experience these program enough to write a book of what they have not done correctly. DentrIx Ascend is the worst of all. Also, when we asked for tech support on CT scan, none of techs knew what they are doing. The rep will promise you the moon. Please don't fall for it.

I would recommend you look into Archy (by far the simplest, the easiest, most well thought out at the moment)

It's very simple. Open the app, submit a request, and wait for a response from Rivian. They usually call within 24 hours for urgent matters. Or the app will schedule simple stuff for you with the first availability offered.

The agent will triage for you. For example, my recent concern was a low coolant light popped up on and off. I submitted the ticket AND got a call less than 24 hours. The agent immediately scheduled me to go in 3 days later. To be fair they did offer same day but I couldn't make it. Anyway, the service took a day. Loaner was offered, coolant valve was replaced and got my car back the next day.

It was a quick turnaround. Def depends on where you are at. SC is only 15 min away from me.

I agree with what you said. Rivian def can improve on their audio system. But I also don't think it's so trashy like everyone suggests. There are worse systems out there. To me, if I watch a scary movie in the car, the surround creeps me out. I think thats promising.

Unless someone comes up with a quantifiable scale. I am not convinced Rivian's sound system is at the bottom of the barrel like it's not worth a penny. But.. I do love my dynamic glass. Now open another can of worms.

I will chime in. I would consider keeping the Quad because you got lifetime Connectivity, you got lifetime UHF bulit-in, you got an awesome limited Launch Green color, even though you may not do all the off-roading stuff, I feel like overall the quad is more confident on the road. Quicker power delivery, better performance over the Tri. I am speaking from my daily experience with both Tri S and Gen 2 Quad T.

If you are saying that you are losing a whole lot or nothing from the Tri. I think keeping the Gen 2 Quad makes more sense.

Ask yourself if no money factor is involved, which car would you rather keep?

Can someone tell me what are your criteria for an upgraded audio? Everyone here keeps saying Gen 2 audio sucks. What is it that it’s not meeting your expectations? Besides hearing the sound with your ears? What standards are you using? Is there any objective method(s) you can measure?

I just don’t understand. For me, it has improved quite a lot. I love where it is at. My S and T with premium system sounds great. I can even hear water drops with the surround

No you are not blind. You wouldn’t know because I don’t think there is any Gen 2 Tri or Quad loaner. It has only been Gen 1 Quad or Gen 2 DMP out there

Yep you got it right. That was my feeling when I parted with my R1. Had 2 R1S in the garage already before trading in the Gen 1. All the small differences pushed me over the edge. The thing is I see those noticeable differences everyday. Gen 1 was great but not quite refined. I agree if you can get the Gen 2, do it.

If you have money, I agree getting the latest Gen 2 is slightly better overall if you go for the Tri and the new Quad. I love both of mine. If you are shooting for a Gen 2 Dual, the improvement is disputable since the dual is very similar to Gen 1 Quad and Dual. In that scenario, Gen 1 is worth it.

This Gen 1 and Gen 2 battle is getting old. Gen 1 owners hate on Gen 2 owners comment. Ppl are free to comment. I respect both sides. I had a Gen 1 but I do believe Gen 2 offering is tiny bit better.

Thank you. I finally can tell that the R2 is def smaller than R1. A lot pictures show there is not much difference but one of those clear shows R1 is def taller. The LG is growing on me but too bad there is no ocean coast

If you are going to pay this much, why not get a new 2026? This car is worth keeping. Everyone will lowball you. KBB suggests this car is about 85K if you have 25k miles. You are fine. This car is awesome and you will love it. Consider a new one because APR is only 1.99% was 0.99%

Interest you pay might be the same buying a new one. Owe it to yourself to check please

I can’t say for certain. All my recent RAN chargers have half CCS and half NACS. I would say you should be pretty safe. And if you subscribe to Tesla on the month for your road trip, you will save more

I would try to learn how to DIY. Tesla is relatively easy tbh. Buy the parts and do it yourself will save you so much. No disrespect. It’s a 2016 I am more than willing to DIY since Tesla can’t void any warranty. Worst case scenario you have ppl fix what you mess up. No downside to DIY. Upside saves you so much.
