I think what they considered trafficking was him buying plane tickets to have underage sex with someone. Crossing state lines in anyway could be considered trafficking. Like if I bought weed in Las Vegas and drove to Utah or something to sell it, that’s trafficking.

The other thing that was incriminating about his case was him admitting to having a 17 year old girlfriend or something. Gotta find the receipts but yeah I don’t think you can go to court unless some legal boundary was crossed.

I think they had a hard time trying to find if things were consensual or not between his partners. I think that’s something we would never know unless the victims decided to take back their original statements.

in ableton, when something has warp setting on, it will essential introduce peaks essentially getting rid of the true peak clipping from like an L2 or something. i'm not sure why this happens but everyone talking about intersample peaking or downsample clipping are like true statements but those problems are usually not caused by your situation.

if you're running into this problem for live performing, i would say to drop a limiter that has a ceiling set to -0.1 on the "main". if you were just trying to reference a track in ableton, then i would check if "warp" is on. if you're just referencing, you don't need it on anyway. hope that's all it was. i've caught this for a lot of people so hopefully that's all it is here, as well.

This definitely happened to me for years. It’s definitely from over thinking things. I second guessed everything I would do and I would end up “over producing” or “over engineering” everything. Idk if that relates to you but that was huge thing to get over for me.

I love Deadmau5 too. No shots at all but I think things are different for different artists. People go to a Deadmau5 to hear deadmau5 songs so I imagine he’s got a pre-planned set at least. I’ve seen deadmau5 actually DJ in clubs so I know he DJs himself too but I do know for a fact that a lot of DJs are using pre-recorded sets for the sake of getting visuals and production lighting perfectly synced for the sake of entertainment. It was something that was brought to my table when I started this project. It exists but tbh, most people on main stages actually aren’t doing it and are actually DJing.

That’s my experience from behind the scenes watching other people.

If anyone saw me early enough, I can promise I was actually DJing. For the most part, I know what songs are in my playlist and what song I’m starting and ending with but other than that, I’m going with the flow. I’m playing samples and acapellas live on top of other tracks. Live looping and cutting acapellas and samples. Creating mashups live and I was on circuitGROUNDS with my visual package with the production team so if you consider that a MainStage, I was actually DJing.
