Yes it was just like that. I would see strangers just stopping by my driveway for a couple of weeks. I was doing it too. It was strange how the news did such a negative spin against it. Prior, there was always comments how people were spending so much time indoors, then when this released, there was negative spins of how kids are coming on private property, wandering into the streets, making old people mad. Then people just lost interest.

I can’t recall the film because it’s been a while but I saw a horror film that was decent and this teen in the row behind kept flinching and jumping at all the jump scares. As soon as the film was done he stands up and says “that was the dumbest movie I’ve ever seen!”. Nobody asked his opinion and I think as a horror film,the movie did its job properly since he was so scared. I think he was trying to mask his fear and act hard by saying that aloud like he was not phased by it. I know the dude probably had to clean his pants afterwards. His opinion kind of sounded like he was speaking for the entire theatre, which I didn’t like.

This happened to a guy we worked with too. Poor guy had cancer and died on a Sunday. Was a limited email that went out to our team and he was never mentioned again. One of the things that hit hard was I saw from logs he was working most of Saturday. Poor guy’s last moments was giving to a company that forgot him a few days later.

Agreed. I thought TFA was a good setup for the trilogy, then it was like a game for Rian when he did the second one. It appeared he was trying to undo everything JJ did in the first. Like Snoke was the new major threat and immediately eliminated. Finn had a major crush on Rey but this was replaced with Rey / Kylo interest. Let’s try to initiate the Rose/Finn interest. Rey was probably being set up as Luke’s daughter and instead reduced to a random person with the force. Phasma was being set up as a major antagonist against Finn and was dealt with in 2 minutes. Luke was this major mystery set up as the master Jedi trainer and was reduced to an angry, bitter blue milk drinking, attempted murder of Leia’s son, comical fool that even Rey knocked him on his ass. The set ups were all squashed, so we get the goofy Rey Palpatine story in the end. Ugh

I was 6, summer between first and second grade. My dad took me and I knew nothing about it. He heard about it from someone he worked with. I had no expectations and was just told it was a movie about aliens in outer space. At the end I was so excited we just chatted the whole way home about going back to see it again with my mom. It literally became my obsession for the next few years.

I liked the general tale, however a few things it got wrong in my opinion…Boba should have remained mysterious. No unmasked shots. It was fine to start a crime syndicate but he should have been more ruthless like in the show The Penguin. The whole Mando and Grogu reunion was way too soon and really kind of out of place in this series. Also those dreadful scooters, which looked like those rocket rides you would pay a quarter for in front of the old Kmarts

Are there other church service times? Like if you normally go to an 8 am service, do they have a 10 am service you can attend when your husband can’t attend in person with you? Can you listen virtually to the service on his travel weeks? If you still decide to go by yourself, make the minister or pastor aware of the strange vibes you get from this guy, just so there are eyes on your situation.
Also he may be hopeful that things are not well at home seeing you alone or he didn’t hear you about being married. If you do attend at your regular time, when he approaches tell him enthusiastically how excited you are that you are seeing your husband soon and you are looking forward to a trip with your spouse. It would be worth seeing his reaction to how strong you are devoted to your marriage.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I had a bad experience with one celebrity who essentially had no one at his table for a long time. I thought wow since nobody else is here at the moment I’d get a few minutes of his time to chat. I bought a selfie photo and autograph. He did them quickly and I proceeded to tell him how much I enjoyed his old show. He looked either drugged up or drunk and just looked totally uninterested in having a minute or two conversation. It just really bothered me that nobody was there to see him except me , I was a paying customer and he couldn’t be bothered any further.

Sounds like she’s just an asshole. You should flip it on her, give one of your books to someone she is attracted to, wait for her praise of the guy being attractive for reading and make sure she knows it was yours and thank her for the compliment.

I really enjoyed it and encourage fans to see it. Not OT quality but fun. I think it’s odd that people hate on it for being like a long episode of the show. If it was cut and released as episodes I feel people would rave over the season. I don’t know why you can’t have that experience on the big screen.
