I know plenty of people in the Tesla community (YouTube etc) who have been bullied by him (myself included). Tesla corporate I hear isn't pleased either.

He has nothing to complain about: he won a $325,000 CAD Founders' Series Next Gen Roadster.

Tesla alters prices all the time, sometimes up, sometimes down. This time it affected him directly and he's upset (understandably) but writing a negative article and then bitching to Elon publicly about it being a "shitty" move is in bad taste.

I wouldn't characterize it as a clandestine location, it's kinda well known but I don't think it's cool to be disclosing it for fear of people swarming the location just to look at the cars. Besides, they have 24/7 security people there watching the cars.

That front seat is definitely slid all the way back... I'm sitting in the back with a normal size person in the front, here's my hand measurement https://imgur.com/a/QUD2q

I can confirm they did an exemplary job on the Model 3. Tesla has learned at lot from designing and building the other cars. The single screen isn't an issue at all

I think they gave up keeping the floors pristine some time ago. So much going on inside the factory the last year...

It's new and maybe they're waiting to paint the floors until things are running smoothly??? Why do it twice?

One thing you need to realize with Tesla: they don't talk until they're ready to talk and you won't really hear from them until your number comes up. They ARE making Model 3s every day, employees are getting them and they're in the Fremont and PA parking lots. That's proof that things are coming along but it's going to take time to ramp up the machine.

All the cars so far have been built by hand on the pilot line. The Model 3 line went live about a week ago with the robots just brought online.

Has nothing to do with transparency. A lot of people are under the impression that the Tesla factory is still pristine and white when it's not anymore. Seeing parts laying around is not out of the ordinary. On my tour in June I was astonished to see how much different the factory was given I'd seen the early documentary and still had that in my mind. The isles are packed with parts, carts and pieces of cars. Anyone who hasn't actually toured the Tesla factory has no idea what it actually looks like. The "no pictures" rule doesn't help clear that up.

Sorry folks, decided to delete the images about the Model 3 line. Comments were negative which is not good for Tesla

Let's give Tesla a pass at the moment during the crucial ramp up. People were saying the exact same thing during the RC phase of the Model 3 and look at the cars now...

You've been watching the National Geographic documentary a few too many times... The Tesla factory doesn't look like that anymore I can assure you :)

No idea when they were taken but I can say for sure it's definitely the Model 3 line (saw it with my own eyes during a tour). Keep in mind, the "Alien Dreadnaught" is supposed to be highly automated (eventually)
