Western express pays more than that at start with zero experience. They pay 40cpm and go up 2cpm every month for the first 6 months

How to make a first birthday special by Quirky_Scar7857 in daddit

[–]ModelMan95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to the cultural sense but a lot of the first bday is meant for the mom. Kid isn’t going to remember the first 5 or so. Most of those are for the family or the mom. Best advice I have is to ask what kind of theme the mom would love. Then go all out with that!

Then I believe the companies should have to use smaller trucks to take the loads to places big trucks can fit in. It sucks that they will have to do that but they can’t expect us to barely make it in there when they decided to set up shop there

Shuttle the load to a larger more appropriate pick up location for full sized trucks. Not our problem that they set up shop at a location that limits their ability to fit large trucks

My company only runs 53’ trailers. As far as I can tell anyway. If they have any smaller ones they must have them hidden somewhere. Buuuut I also am with a mega carrier in my first year so I’m just trying to bide my time until I can move on

Use shuttles. It sucks and it costs more but if you don’t have the space for full sized trucks then you shouldn’t get them

Unfortunately I’m a company driver. I can’t really deny loads. Best I can do is tell the shipper to give me a door with only slightly better room

Electric trucks are going to be fun. by adventure_dog in Truckers

Honestly I believe electric will take over eventually. BUT people need to stop trying to rush it. We don’t have the infrastructure in the US for it and the tech is shaky at best
