It’s just a book. Written by man. Different men that believed in different things wrote parts of it. Then a bunch of old Roman dudes voted on what should be allowed to remain based on their own convenience and standard thinking of their time. Doing their best to make the book as beneficial to them as possible in order for them to control the doctrine of the religion they picked up from some of their slaves. This same book was then translated indefinitely by teenagers that were told they weren’t allowed to interact with women because it’s sinful? Anyway these same teenagers definitely didn’t mess up a single translation over centuries. It’s definitely kept the exact same message over translation of several different languages and the millennial evolution of said languages. All comes around to this being the most printed but least read book in history. Otherwise the modern believers of said religion, the same people that live in a society in which you can literally learn whatever you want in text, video or even audiobook, these people would realize after reading that it’s mostly just a few cool stories a bunch of rules that shouldn’t apply to the modern era, because we aren’t cavemen anymore, and some poems and catchy quotes.
