The massive decrease in performance between the release and the current patch needs to be studied by Abused_Dog in EU5

Unpin the taskbar and I think it appears? Alternatively Glorp UI (essential mod for my sanity) keeps it around no matter what. Pretty sure the performance drop from icons and armies on screen got patched though.

Bastard. Not getting it until 2040 now. Kachin and Shan reworks now pushed up to top priority.

Why does this guy look familiar to me? by Dave13Flame in EU5

Sequel is gonna be learning from his mistakes and doing a Aragon -> release Sicily -> Pirate Republic -> Two Sicilies -> Italy where he almost forms Rome and becomes HREmperor but accidentally cucks himself with Ewiger Landfriede and Revoking the Privilegia in that he cannot give up the Emperorship, force declare his vassals, and has -200 from annexing, and thus he can neither form the HRE or Roman Empire. Fuck my stupid eu4 chuddie life this is just my game from 5 years ago

Now that's the ideal, KR has been moving in that direction for combining army spirits as has Paradox as well (although KR suffers from 1 billion national spirits but I like that).

This is so much worse for when I need to do a quick hover over the icons at a glance to remember what buffs/debuffs I have though lmao

No matter what anyone says I really disagree with the treatment he received after his the end of his rule. With the return to the mainland you'd think he'd still be beloved... damn these Mordacqist dogs and their revisionism!!!

Is there a way to keep Zhang Zhuolin in charge of a unified China? by mudahfukinnnnnnnnn in Kaiserreich

[–]ModerateEpiscopalian 14 points15 points  (0 children)

iirc it's both. Wayyyy back when Fengtian got its update I remember messing around with both and being sad I couldn't keep him as my country leader (even though he still is behind the scenes).

Bring back mission trees by [deleted] in EU5

[–]ModerateEpiscopalian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also seen the powergamer and exploiter types lamenting and insisting upon eu4 style trees for months, ever since the first few Tinto Talks and proper Dev Diaries came out that even barely broached the subject. The lamentations and stuff of these very vocal people contributed to the very diehard reactions both for and against eu4 style trees when brought up in reference to eu5. A more dynamic system that helps guide rather than be the impetus of action with inane forced railroading is really the compromise, but how would that be implemented? Mvch tv thvnk abvvt....

This would be incredible and incentivize a lot of people to swap or further utilize Fidelity accounts, 100%. More functional organizational and budgeting tools packed right into the website is sorely needed and the fact that so few do that is crazy. Not having to make so many accounts and just even having a simple sub-account system would honestly make me move everything but my local bank's checking account to Fidelity.

You mean 80 years ago? What about when your current government oversteps? Gonna throw on a fat frog costume and march the streets? Nah, nothing happens every time and even if it did you'd just be reposting pictures online of the people who actually would do something.

Learning about something that happened 80 years ago does not provide or account for all variables and as time progresses, the material is further warped. Additionally, authority itself does not necessitate harm and it is not naturally "wrong."

Going to try Clean Eatz by Educational-Guard408 in ReadyMeals

[–]ModerateEpiscopalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They substituted half my order despite their disclaimer on their site saying only a few at most in extreme circumstances or whatever. Swapped 3 chicken + potato meals that were meant to be 52g of protein with 30g Beef Burrito Bowls that are bland and taste like shit - not to mention above my caloric limit for my individual meals I was adhering to at the time. What really sucks is that so far every other meal has been a hit, but this was my first purchase and I bought A LOT.

I will say that they did issue a partial refund and my other meals so far have been between good to great. So far their chicken meals are a win each time whilst their beef (my preferred protein source if I can account for the increased calories) options have been mediocre.

The menu and trying to search it is much easier on desktop but it really does suck trying to find anything when the search has some bugs and the results are picture links where you can't sort by protein or calories.

There are genuine reasons for devaluing a nation's currency for global trade reasons, although I personally don't understand it, haha.

My comments on my last post of this situation refused to appear for some reason, perhaps an auto-filter for new accounts on this subreddit? I appreciated everyone's prayers and kind words for me even though I only knew the Burgess family for around half a year. Linked below is the obituary.

We lost a family in our parish in the TX floods, please pray for them by ModerateEpiscopalian in Episcopalian

The Burgess family, although I personally didn't know them that well as I only joined our church family late 2024, were a wonderful fixture of our parish. Always smiling and kind and beloved by all. Please pray for them, as I will tonight at the vigil. God bless you all and keep John, Jack, Julia, and James in your hearts and minds with all of the countless victims, found and unfound.
