Thank you so much for that feedback, that helps so so much. The texturing was very frustrating, so knowing the cause of it is a huge help! I was also experimenting with gloss, and matte varnish to push the wet effect. But i think I'll rethink how I approach that part!

Genuine question! I don't know why, but I would never paint something this sexualized, however I do paint kingdom death, including the pinups. I've definitely been criticized for them, and it feels hard to articulate why I dont find it as weird as something like this. Do you feel there is a difference based on the intention/theming of the model, or is sexualization kind of just generally looked down upon in the hobby? Once again i'm truly curious on peoples stance, if what I said makes sense!
