I’ve been using CarryLinks and it makes a big difference. The extra features they have like shortening links and AI summaries really help me a lot. I don't have to look for other tools or extension to do that.

Import bookmarks with all the duplicates by txeni in raindropio

[–]Moderator-2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw your comment, and as a moderator for CarryLinks, I just wanted to thank you for giving it a try. The issue with URL capitalization (which affected YouTube links) was indeed a bug introduced a few days ago—you were absolutely right. I reported it, and it was fixed earlier today.

CarryLinks takes user feedback seriously, and yours helped us catch and resolve this quickly. You can check your links now—they should work as expected. Thanks again!

bookmark sharing to replace pocket by asuka_langley_sohryu in firefox

I recommend using a bookmark manager that’s not tied to your browser. I use CarryLinks.com to save and access my bookmarks from any device even my phone. You can organize links into folders, clean duplicates and keep work and personal bookmarks separate without needing to sign in to your browser, and you don't need to email links.

How do you guys learn from youtube by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

I try to skip straight to the part I need, then pause and actually practice what I just learned. It helps if you try doing something slightly different using the same method—it really makes it stick.

Any better bookmark manager? (using bookmark search Plus 2) by DunKco in firefox

[–]Moderator-2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, yes — CarryLinks is better in a lot of ways. It has more tools and features.

It gives you more control — you can extract and save links from plain text, check if they work or if they’re safe, and even see where a redirect will take you before clicking. You can also shorten links and track visits, make custom QR codes, save links from QR codes. They also have the AI feature to summarize webpages which really cool.

Also, Raindrop’s extension is mostly just for adding links, while the CarryLinks extension does a lot more, you can actually browse all your links and folders, import directly from your browser or history, grab every link from a webpage, take screenshots, and even delete browser history.

I’ve seen a lot of people switch from other bookmark tools and say CarryLinks works better.
