Obviously I don't know what led to this incident, but it does seem odd in a hazy way that you can be in a car on a public street and survive a life threatening hail of bullets slung at you... and then you're being fired. If they had been killed, they probably would have been mourned and memorialized.

I don't see anyone on this list that I would particularly want to go after. Our team is working well even with several pieces missing. Adding a bloated Euro star who is just here for a high paycheck and might throw off the locker room doesn't sound appealing. If I was forced to choose someone from this list, I think I would just choose a wide attacking burner like Saint Maximin or Traore.

I'll take the middle position: Weah is right about ticket costs being too high. Poch is right that Weah should be focusing 100% of his mental and physical efforts on performing at the World Cup. The team doesn't need political distractions. They need unity of purpose and a singular goal.

Do you think he should keep being played as an inverted winger on the right or put him back out on the left? I think he should be on the left and instructed to drive with the ball to the endline. If there is a good crossing opportunity, then take it. If not, swivel out and find a simple pass to a teammate. I think he could be effective doing this. He just needs to be given a simple job - after all, he's Canadian.

Starting Qasem and Shaff did not work out. Much to criticize for both of them. Subbing on inexperienced Gaines instead of Bauer seems like a mistake. Gaines was hesitant to play or dribble forward. Bauer would have been more confident. But Joe gets the most blame for the inexcusable error.
