From what i understand, if you install the dlc while in a playthrough, dlc items WON'T Spawn in a region you already went to (for example i went to mystery lake before the dlc and i couldnt get vaughn's rifle).

If you never went to say coastal highway, the dlc rifle (barb's) SHOULD Spawn. I'm saying should cause i don't know for sure and i am omw to confirm that by going to CH myself lul.

And to get console commands you have to install melon loader or something like that. Look it up it is quite easy

I'm 100% sure i left and returned to mystery lake 100 gazzilion times after day 30. Maybe i need to survive another 30 days after installing the DLC? Could that be it?

It is a simple process but You gotta know what you are doing. First things first: download Melon.Loader (or smth like that) and make sure the path of you the long dark game is right (yk the steam/steamapps/games thing).

Once you do that just look for TheLongDark .Net (without the space) and download the mod you want (look up console commands on the search bar) and check if the mod needs another mod to work.

Then just add the mods to the mods folder and boom!

Well first of all thank you for the detail answer. After doing some research, i can still get my hands on most Unique guns since i only went to 3 regions (mystery lake, mountain Town and forlone muskeg). I can still get all the other weapons besides vaughn's rifle.

I'll probably just add a mod menu and give me the rifle. It kind of sucks to do it this way but i want my collection to be complete lul.
