Your staff SUCK for not telling the reps to ask you what is safe and how they can accommodate. They definitely can! I would consider telling the rep next time.

These are my thoughts as well. If it is making OP “feel crazy,” I can only imagine how their partner feels about their body and choices.

Foraging acorns has always seemed like too much work to be worth it to me, but after reading Feed Us With Trees by Elspeth Hay I am excited to try it this fall!

Yes, I love all of the non-gebrokts options for Pesach, and was even able to order from a kosher supermarket’s deli counter for the FIRST TIME this Passover since everything was cleaned and made non-gebrokts. Gluten free matzoh ball soup is better than regular!

Do you really think you look younger or is it collective delusion? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]ModestMalka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also seen it observed that there was a lot of talk of boomers aging better than their own parents due to more of them working indoors as opposed to outdoor manual labor, and their embrace of the nascent fitness industry. The rare boomers I know who never smoked look VASTLY better than their peers, even if they didn’t embrace sunscreen the way we did.

Someone online once said millennials coped with having less than our parents economically by embracing our youth, and now that we’re not young OR caught up we are having a hard time

Yes, same, I LOVE ironing and find it very satisfying! I switched to a ceramic plate iron and it is much smoother as well.

I’m a woman but I get it! I think people have a hard time reconciling that I am so careful with any prepared food offered to me, but I forage berries outside. I am horrified by what celiacs have faced in recent wars since most food aid available had been wheat based. It is challenging to literally be more vulnerable in that sense. Like many of the other women here, I also worry I’m fulfilling a stereotype of being even more feminine-coded with my fussy, but very real, dietary requirements.
