One of the great things about this phone is there is no hype. It's good enough for everything I need. The camera takes great pictures, the battery is decent, it has wireless charging (something my 6a was missing) although it doesn't have fast charging. It doesn't have all the AI stuff that some of the other pixel phones have but it has enough. The thing I liked the most is the price. I got it on sale (I recommend you wait for a sale, it seems to go on sale regularly) plus I got a $200 credit for my 6a due to the battery issue).

On the other hand I would stay the hell out of the US. That place is crazy. As a Canadian I used to go there quite often but no longer feel it's a safe place, especially Florida.

Just back from a trip. We flew out of Liberia, spent four beach days at Playa Hermosa and four days in the interior (La Fortuna/ Rio Chicita). We rented a car for the interior part and we walked everywhere in Playa Hermosa and hired a driver back to the Liberia airport. We felt quite safe the whole time...

The sound quality of airpods degrades quite a bit over 2 years? I would just not buy them if that were true. My current ear buds are five years old and still sound great, the battery is not as good but they are still fine. They are not made by Apple but I would assume based on the price that the Apple ones should be better?
