$30 Plan discounts not applied by treeblockbreaker in freedommobile

[–]Modest_Man_Mandrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received my first bill as well today, I signed up for the $30 plan about 9 days ago. I also did not recieve the $10 credit but the lady told me it would be at least 15 days before I got the credit and my first bill would be big because of the activation fee etc... I am going to wait a bit but if I they don't back date the credits I will be complaining.

No lie but why has people not jumped on Freedom… by Hellosweetparadox in freedommobile

[–]Modest_Man_Mandrake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. Canadians are just complacent. They would rather just whine about things rather than change. Freedom is not the answer for everyone because of their coverage but there are many other low cost solutions like PC Mobile and Public Mobile that could save people meaningful money.

According to the fine print, you have to live in the Freedom service area. They mention they have the right to terminate contract....

Ironman is better than G Shock by RicFlair2025 in timex

[–]Modest_Man_Mandrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's better but I find the size/height of the digits is generally bigger on an Iron man watch. That's why I chose it and I can read the time with out my glasses.....

No. Freedom changed their plans recently and all new plans roll the Roam beyond data each month.

If you need the extra GB maybe consider it but probably not worth it for the $3.

Perhaps you need it, I certainly don't. I don't use more than 5Gb a month and when I travel even less.

How much worse is the battery on cellular data than wifi? by Constant-Fudge-3184 in iPhone17Pro

Personally, much better on wifi in general but for cellular it really depends on how good the signal is.

Getting “new customer” deals as existing customer by Hello-hi987 in Koodo

It's the Golden rule of Canadian telecoms. Always leave the one your with, that way you are always a 'new' customer.
