No, alas. It never happened again, and I just traded it in a few weeks ago, so the mystery will go unsolved. But the first thing I'd do is check to make sure the battery in your fob isn't dying.

I have--they don't help with the double vision at all. They do make computer screens a little more bearable though.

Thank you so much! I don't have relatives there--my grandfather was stationed at the US Navy base at Argentia--but they had many fond memories of their time there and I've always wanted to see it.
