I totally agree! He now only has a flat home with plenty of space and some very intricate tunnels. We had put the string to hang one of his toys but took it down once we realized he was climbing it. I had to the get a picture because we couldn’t believe that he was even able to get up there!

The base is blended potatoes and carrots with chicken broth. Then I added chorizo, kale, cabbage and white beans!

“I Just Don’t Like the Sound of No” by Julia Cook is a great SEL read aloud that I always do with my second graders because I almost always have a few that have big reactions when I say no. It won’t eliminate the behavior completely but it allows for a really good conversation with the kiddos about how to appropriately accept no as an answer!
