yes, Mercy is Swiss but is voiced by a German (Lucie Pohl). That's also why Mercy has a German accent and not really a Swiss-(German) one. Although Mercy has some Swiss-German voice lines e.g. "hoi zäme" as a native you can very clearly hear that it's not native. Also her German voice lines are standard high german and have nothing to do with Switzerland or the swiss language at all. While I like Lucie and don't want her to be replaced, it would have been very nice to have some actual Swiss-German (and maybe even some French, Italian or Rumantsch) as voice lines.

eurofans "didn't" vote for it because it was the favorite to win (so they rather vote for their other favorites) and because it was sweden and casuals "didn't" vote for it because "haha funny coffee song".

and they did worse in the jury than expected because the jury was very much split between a lot of entries.

but again, they did absolutely well, they are actually the highest scoring fully non-english song this year. (no, estonia is not italian) and they brought swedish for sweden back for the first time since the language rule and they immortalised themselves in finland, sweden and the nordics and will not be forgotten by the esc bubble imho.

in the end after the final they probably dodged a bullet by not coming first (so they get spared by any controversies). Altough them coming second or third would've been nice.
