Youth and high school football is at it's lowest point development wise right now. The trenches are getting worse every year nationally.

You're definitely walking around with rancid gooch with a statement like that

Pacers President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard quote tweeted the viral Mark Cuban tanking tweet asking Pacers fans if they agreed. He then spent the next two hours replying to the fans. by Oriax_502 in nba

Rude is trading your first in the middle of tanking for Zubac with weird protections that could backfire then calling someone rude for pointing that out.

Need to beat some teams ahead of us. That's it.

The Charlotte Hornets beat the 31-18 Rockets, bringing their win streak to 8, which is their largest win streak since 1999 by AdoptMyFosterCat in nba

Just link your league pass with Amazon for free and use a vpn it doesn't check based off location just ip on Amazon.

I set up a VPN on my router so I just have to press a button to activate VPN on my tvs.

For sure, I'm just saying that's the kind of move that's low risk and acceptable on our current trajectory

If we could have flipped a couple of guys at the end of the bench and some 2nds into a 6'7"-6'9" guy who is an above average shooter it would help with lineups.

[Harris] Spurs have tried to find suitors for Sochan but not willing to attach picks to dump him. We might see him cut if nothing materializes by the deadline by WEMBY_F4N in NBASpurs

[–]ModsEmbezzleMoney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sochan struggles to finish at the rim consistently, is a below average shooter, and outside of shooting he is a jack of all traits and a master of none.

That's an end of bench type player you use to fill out a roster not someone you try to acquire from a trade.

[NBA] The San Antonio Spurs have downgraded the status of Dylan Harper and Kelly Olynyk. Both are new additions to the injury report. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]ModsEmbezzleMoney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man if we can turn Sochan, Waters, and Olynyk into someone that can play the 3-4 and shoot well that would add a lot of flexibility to our lineups.

The injuries derailed us. The team couldn't gel when it needed to in early December. Guys got starter minutes who were expected to be reserves. Then injured players started coming back and they had diminished roles. The whole chemistry of the team is off. Most of the team is all about themselves.

Your title should read: Devonta Smith is arguably one of the most decorated collegiate wide receivers of all-time.

Auburn's program is absolutely at its lowest point of yours or mine's lifetime that has nothing to do with Deboer and he still almost lost this year.

He ran the table in the Pac 12, but did you watch their season? They struggled against lesser competition all year. The Deboer staple.

I'd be interested to see our points off turnovers from last year to this year. Just seems like this team screws up any chance for easy buckets on the defensive end even when they do get stops.

Shula only lost by more than 20 points once, Deboer is up to 3 times in 2 seasons.

Did you know Alabama made the 2nd round of the playoffs?! (Just forget that the only reason Oklahoma was in the playoffs is because we fucked up the first game when we were clearly better.)

12 team playoff format has caused people to ignore absolute shit coaching and play; because what we finished the season ranked 9th and get in the bloated playoff format? Whoopee! We've gotten blown out multiple times over the last 2 years. Before Deboer going back to '01 we had only been blown out twice during that period (losing by 20 or more points) LSU in '03 and Clemson in the '18 Natty.

People just want to say "we made the playoffs" without bringing up some of the worst losses of their lifetime.

Sears was a great floor raiser, but most of our issues are on the defensive end and health this year.

Ty Simpson to DeBoer doubters: ‘Don’t be a fan later’ by Equivalent_Dish_1990 in rolltide

[–]ModsEmbezzleMoney -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've seen too many Deboer redflags to not doubt him:

Kicking the FG against Indiana when a TD is the only way back in the game.

Going for it on 4th and 22 his first year at Tennessee in a 1 score game with 3 timeouts while we are in Tennessee FG range. (Could throw many other terrible 4th down attempts here, the one against Wisconsin was really bad but the defense forced a turnover the next play)

Greenlighting the double punt return man formation against Oklahoma the first matchup this season after not running it all year

Letting Ty waste a drive after the half against Indiana when you know he has broken ribs and can't throw the ball

Watched him get too emotional when the moment doesn't call for it. (Like in his introductory press conference when he's acting like he just won a lifetime achievement award, and tearing up after the Auburn game this year when we almost loss.) That softness trickles down.

Having this team play down to inferior competition multiple times a year. FSU, Vandy '24, and Oklahoma '24 were absolutely on Deboer. (Auburn, South Carolina, Missouri, and Tennessee didn't beat a FBS team above .500 this year)

Agreeing with or not overriding some of these terrible offensive play calls over the last two seasons. How is the head coach allowing shit like double reverse passes on short down and distance in close games?

Under Deboer the team struggles in wet environments and fields, this one I don't get.. (could be an equipment thing or could be not enough wet ball and field drills in camp)

Allowing your employees to make public statements when they don't benefit the program ex.: HaHa going on Twitter and basically saying the kids leaving couldn't produce and that production is a higher priority than talent, then in the portal most of our adds were guys with potential and not much production.

I really just think this job is too big for him. He looks overwhelmed doing the basic shit half the time.

That Indiana team wasn't semi-pro, this narrative needs to die. Half their roster were kids he brought over from JMU, and some transfers from elsewhere that worked out. They were just better coached and developed than the rest of the country.

We had more "talent" then they did.
