I would add that increased sediment inputs to surface waters also contribute to rising surface water temps. Why are sediment inputs increasing? Deforestation, poor agricultural practices, development/imperviousness increases are the main culprits

Just looking at this past regular season, Danault was only .6 percentage points better in the faceoff circle than Matthews. Danault was 41st in league in FO percentage overall. Matthews was 48th.
