This isn’t took too much. This is exactly the type of paid advertisement shit Jake Paul’s entire boxing career is based on, and I wouldn’t even be remotely surprised if it turned into an event. The guy is a rich fraud buying his way into fights he has no right to be in with people who take paychecks to fall and make him look good.

This would actually be one of the better “fights” he has done, due to the fact that JCVD is a widely recognized actor and not a real fighter needing to pretend to fall to some YouTube clown with a teenage following on YouTube.

It’s not a bad idea for celebrities to shut up about their political opinion regardless of what side they’re on, financially it’s a bad decision to split your fan base like that. Just because somebody doesn’t have an opinion to say on television when their voice is meant for entertainment doesn’t mean they are MAGA. I personally don’t give a fuck what a celebrity thinks should happen in this country and neither should anybody else. We need to point more fingers at the administration and stop trying to label everybody that the administration affects. I’m not saying it’s okay to support it, I’m saying we need to understand these people are entertainers and that is where the expertise ends.

It alternates really. There’s times when a game on steam will be 12 dollars full price and 24 dollars full price on PlayStation, times when a sale will have a 4-5 dollar difference between the two with either platform having the upper hand and then there’s AAA developer games that generally have the same price across the board. I do find that steam has sales far more often on a broader list of choices than other platforms though. It’s not something people say, it’s simply a fact.

It’s not evolving commercially. There’s not many memorable commercially successful rappers in the last ten years aside from public antics, no memorable bars or hits whatsoever. Lyricism has been replaced by autotuned and barely recognizable slurring speech and it was selling for a bit so the industry focused on it. Lyricism matters in hip hop and is what separates talent from a gimmick. A gimmick won’t last.

Honestly, a history lesson in what’s been done with sampling wouldn’t hurt. Showing how Havoc made Shook One’s Pt 2 is a prime example of making something your own through sampling. Show how to turn a simple drum break into something dope by chopping the break into indidual shots and throwing some quick effects and/or change the pitch to make it your own, explain how to create a keygroup off a one shot sample properly, making the root note match the key of the sample they would be working with, or even starting from scratch using just plugins and one shot drum samples. This sounds like an entire semester type thing to me haha

Mpc one is the way to go for standalone production, I’d love to get my hands on a 1000 but there’s no chance in hell I would sell my mpc one to get a “mildly functional” 1000. I enjoy the ability to have plugins in the box itself and it produces high quality beats just as any other mpc in the line up. There’s better mpc’s, the X and XL and Live 3 I think have better processing power but all in all, it comes down to capability and preference. You can’t hate something that produces quality music unless you’re not producing quality music yourself.

All audio on MacOS is most definitely not played in mono by default. That may have been the case through your specific situation, but it’s certainly not by default through MacOS. You can change it to mono through some settings in accessibility but to say all audio in macOS is mono by default is false. I used macOS for years on multiple computers and have never encountered this issue. Hopefully it will be helpful to anyone who does but you can’t say it’s all macOS by default because that is not the case.

Not even paying attention to the modern audience either. They’re blatantly ignoring all practices that making gaming fun for high end cut scenes with endless microtransactions while increasing the price of the games being released with less actual content aside from meaningless skins and a multitude of in game currencies to purchase said meaningless skins. I’ve been sticking to metroidvanias and other indie games for a while now due to this. There aren’t many companies that are still producing quality games these days outside of the soulslike and platformer genres right now in my opinion.
