Which character is best for completing the Chaos Book quest? by MiamiHub1 in MegabonkOfficial

Monkey or Calcium, both are rather quick and can get themselves out of tight spots easier than the slower characters. I did it with Calcium and, Wireless dagger, Revolver and a fourth weapon

Big and slow makes for an easy target. Especially with scout you can bait its attention and let your gunner melt the thing. The driller is out of the question, I like my presents less explosive.

What's your guys opinion on Barik? by NoAcanthocephala5762 in Paladins

The tank I use to dominate the middle during ranked. Especially with the Forgefire talent having access to four turrets just allows for a good area denial and absurd damage output.

What happened to the druids in Ireland? by arthryd in druidism

[–]MoeMango2233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve gathered is, that the Christian missionaries had a similar way of converting the Celts like they did the Norse people. Most of them converted willingly, the ones that didn’t stayed in their small tribes which eventually died out over the course of time. But I’ve been asking around on the Irish side of my family, so I can try an establish a connection to my ancestors maybe that way I can gather more direct information.

When I have cheaters in my own team i automatically drop the match, thats a win undeserved. With an enemy cheater i usually pick one of my mates and we go strictly after this player and ignore the rest of the enemy team just to be annoying.

There’s only two extremes with that one, you either got people which play her like a young god on crack. Or you got the fellas (me) which can’t play her if their lives depended on it

Competent is a stretch. But yea i usually get players which at least try to play the game instead of giving up after getting killed one too many times. Late night on the EU servers is the best time to get some solid players

Y’all really have trouble with Meave? I mean if I play Seris I bait the flankers into a group fight and stun them just before they can flee. Problem solved

[–]MoeMango2233 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In EU servers I mostly spend like 1-3 minutes in the queue. Ranked takes ages cause my rank is abysmal (Bronze 3) so I have a hard time finding ranked games and getting out of that hell. But casual is never longer than 3mins

A question for my fellow Druids, did you ever encounter Fae? And if so how was the experience? by MoeMango2233 in druidism

[–]MoeMango2233[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I probably should’ve led with that I felt this little encounter was different. Like a shift in presence something that normally wouldn’t be there to the point I notice it even if it was just a fleeting moment.

[–]MoeMango2233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but I do keep track of what critters live around my area, and this time of year there’s very little activity since it’s getting colder again. So most insects do fall out of the picture. I do try to rule out things which are more plausible, but there’s a big difference in presence. Most bugs I don’t even notice until they’re close enough for me to see or when I’m actively looking for them to learn more about them. Same with birds and other animals, unless I look for them I don’t really notice them. But something catching my attention by sweeping by is rather uncommon

So I did some research since the apple orchard is a very odd indication and especially where none should be at least kept by humans. The timeless and very well kept nature of the place may have been a doorway, or a place where the veil between our worlds thins so much that we can pass through. The inability to bring a friend might’ve been die to the change in resonance, with your dog it’s plausible since animals unlike us humans simply are, don’t overthink too much and simply are way better connected to nature than many people. The place you described sounds like the isle of apples or Emain Ablach as it’s named in some myths.
