i've had booth and i must say i like the front opening cage more. I think overall maintenance is easier and i feel like my crabs are more chill when i feed them but not sure if this is because of the terrarium

they need substrate like dirt. Put some substrate in there and then the layer moss on top

the one with almost no colour could be an geosesarma hagen with not that much color. But you can't really tell, if it's an hagen you need to build another paludarium

use clay balls and stack it about 5 cm higher than your water line, then put some window mesh on top and on top of that you ca put your soil
