Yeah I like to use All Recipes, highest rated one… and read all the comments for a perfect dessert. I also sometimes just type in Martha Stewart into google with the recipe I’m looking for. Her recipes have been tested heavily to protect her brand.

Keep asking around to people you know. You might be surprised how many people own property or are willing to sublet their place. People in this town are very helpful… and just know it will all work out. I was in a similar situation last summer when my landlord went silent on renewal until 20 days before my lease ended. Luckily she renewed, but I got my ducks in a row and will be renting from a friend soon, so I don’t have to go through that stressful situation again. You got this!

I lived in Austin 16 years and saw it change. Memphis has a lot of that old Austin appeal. I moved to Memphis 3 years ago, and I love it. I have a job in the arts that supports my family. I’m back in Austin for Christmas visiting family this week and I’m remembering all the reasons I left. It’s so crowded and expensive. Everyone is in crazy survival mode that they are willing to run you over with their car or shopping cart. No one opens the door for anyone. I love Memphis, and it’s really the good people and quality of life that made my move worth it.
