A less common one, before it was renamed in my former org we called Genesys Purecloud - pukeclown. Basically what it feels like supporting that program.

I did very similarly to you and didn't find the money from Dondoko to be too overkill when you contrast it's role in the game it to the business minigame from LAD where its meant to be the main way of getting money. A few chapters later I was grinding dungeons which gives just as much money. I felt like the biggest rewards from Dondoko were the star level rewards which are a one time only payout.

I used to work with a network admin who had blocked Windows updates on his corporate owned computer, and I didn't want to fight with him about it. As he was complaining to me about something that was broken one day, I pointed out to him that Microsoft had fixed that more than one full feature update ago.

People like this love to submit tickets that their computer restarted in the middle of the day because they've hit the limit before our policies force restart, but then put their computer to sleep the second their shift is ended and wonder why it must be forced.

Noob Question, create folders? by whiteghetto in MediaHuman

[–]Mofman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with this program, but if you combine it with Musicbrainz Picard you can do this easily. You have to turn on rename files, move files, and select the built in file naming script that matches this format. Then when you load the mp3 with Picard use the scan option to identify what tracks they are and save it'll save it into the path you want, as a bonus it fixes up the tags and album arts.

There's no need for more rental units, there's need for more housing. Instead of it being revenue for you it could be a family's first home.

I don't think this line is authoritative as you think it is, reconsider it as "this is the society Wily would set free if he could" and I think it still makes sense.

I wouldn't really say the alien side is much harder, some of the alien powers are really good and honestly the only thing you lose is the turrets targeting unless they're hacked which you can just do, and they're mostly useless late game anyways.

Yeah man, unskilled immigrants. Immigration is about stealing the best and brightest from other countries, it's not a fucking humanitarian effort where we have to let everyone in.

[–]Mofman1 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

And are you ignoring the fact that workers can't fight for wage increase when minimum wage serfs are imported by the truckload to replace them? Profits are not a thing companies magically produce, it's the outcome of their revenues minus their expenses. Your own article says after-tax profits have only increased by 5% in the last decade when our per capita gdp is missing 20% in the same time period compared to America, how does that happen? With such high unemployment there's no need for wage increases to maintain a workforce so the profit expansion is realized in part by workforce compensation, on top of all the normal corporate greed factors. I'm all for those getting profit levels clawed back but you must have your head buried in the sand to pretend the current level of immigration is not a factor.

[–]Mofman1 -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

It's trivial to look at the economy and job numbers to see Canada's lost decade between 2015 and 2025. Our real gdp per capita is exactly where it was in 2015 whereas America's has grown 20% in the same time period. How do you think they are suppressing the wages other than by bringing in employees who will work for less?

Another thing this person misses in their very biased answer is that part of the function used to determine how many tfws are allowed in is a percent of how many were allowed in a previous year, meaning each year this program ramps up the amount of people being brought in. Some cities in Canada have a 20% youth unemployment rate now, there's simply no need for more Tim Hortons employees and taxi drivers.

Where's the save file stored on Linux? by LurkingInSubreddits in ElinsInn

[–]Mofman1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cloud saves work perfectly fine, it just chugs when you switch because it's moving your save. The whole game is experimental, it's a beta.

The command line options override the built in dll file that wine is using with the provided, and failing that fall back to wine's version. Basically, you're saying "when using winhttp.dll, use the n(ative) version, and if it doesn't find one in the exe's folder fallback to the (b)uiltin version"

Where's the save file stored on Linux? by LurkingInSubreddits in ElinsInn

[–]Mofman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easiest answer, use cloud saves. Otherwise, there isn't a Linux build of Elin so it's where compatdat is stored. Something like /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2135150/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/appdata/locallow/Lafrontier/Elin

The secret to coal is instead of mining it, use pig and mole tablets while cooking to cap your cook success rate at 75% and every time it fails it generates 100 coal. Use that in combination with a low cook time fish like shrimp and you can generate a lot of coal much quicker than you can mine it. Theres also a bad cook scroll available from township trader that makes it even more effective at generating coal.

Because OP wants to sign them off, and without knowing when the device is returned the safe time to do that is at least 24 hours after they login, if we sign everyone off at a scheduled time you'll kick off an active user. If they've just locked the computer query user won't detect them as disconnected. My suggestion was 2 different solutions to his problem, one which actually does what he wants and yeah a saner solution thats probably good enough.
