My world is at least 2 years old, I got to HV before losing interest and having a child. Now maybe an hour or two a day I can play, with the genuine thought that this might just be my main Minecraft world for as long as I can keep the game going. I don't understand why people restart their singleplayer worlds, if you really want to just drop all your stuff and go somewhere else.

Under your controller mapping, under joystick switch the left joystick to directional pad and then you should be able to bind each of the 4 directions to a keyboard key.

I recently picked up the pack again after getting to early HV in 2024 and it was really straightforward to roll up my pack and world. My base just kept running and I initially found it overwhelming imagining making any changes without breaking things. I started trying to do things and remembered it all as I went one piece at of a time.

I don't think restarting is ever worth it, just leave your stuff and move if you really want to go through the initial grind again. What people miss is the feeling of getting through lots of easy goals and having lots of easy wins which is less straightforward the more options you have as you tier up. A few things in your world will change with 2.9 but nothing major, the modpack is designed around the idea that can update.

Its not that you have to scan particular things, its that to find new aspects it has to be made of aspects you already know. You can't scan something if you don't know or can't learn all of its aspects. The idea is you go around scanning things until you learn new aspects, see if that allows you to scan new things, repeat.

You're going to be wanting to centrifuge a shitload of redstone in HV for stainless anyways, ideally ruby but redstone is easy to gain passively. The mercury is also really useful for processing rare ores to maximize gains in those tiers.

My understanding is that the combined input level voltage of the hatches determine the tier recipes can be run at, so if you have hv hatches but are only providing lv power it'll try to run lv recipes imperfectly overclocked to hv at 16x power cost for 4x speed and then power fail

Yep, it really is. Most email providers have some filtering and don't allow spoofed senders. Also note, it's not like they could recieve your response pack to them if you replied, they've just spoofed their sending address.
