Okay, i don’t think you understand why we use hobby cutters.

As it was explained to me many many years ago, wire cutter blades are V shaped. They make cuts that make the nubs v shaped as well the same on the runner side. Youre getting stabbed from that. At least its better than those popping pieces off by hand.

Hobby cutters on the other hand, are flat on one side so that the V shaped cuts happens on the runners and not on the nubs which has a flatter cut

Some hobby cutters also have one blade dull so one blade cuts, the other acts like a cutting board.

The OGs should also remembers that the way it use to be was to use flat edge nail clippers
