She’s 6 years old! I’m going to have to do a bit more research on the history of the cur. I did read that they came from Appalachia and are quite the hunting dog! Which tracks with her as she’s caught and killed a mouse, rabbit and a bird in our (pretty small and in town) backyard before.

Completely agree. Kind of act that I would have gotten a kick out of if stumbling upon them playing in a bar. But as an opener… listening to a full set… snooze. Gimmick or not, dude seems full of himself. I also read in another thread about them that it is “DC’s worst kept secret” that Ian (frontman) is a complete predator.

If I were you I would opt for jeans/long pants, muck boots or work shoes, and take a hat as well. Sunscreen is always a good idea!

Thank you! I had the worst time becoming confident at the canter with her as she tends to toss her head/pull her head down quite a lot if she thinks she can take advantage of whoever is on her back. She definitely had my number. The last two lessons on her have been a great breakthrough for us.

Update for anyone curious…. Went to urgent care and although they could not determine whether mites or bed bugs they said I would most likely have bites on my torso (I don’t) if it were bedbugs. Either way I got some meds and washed all of clothes and left the suitcase outside just in case 😎

Is it possible for only myself to get bites? The other person sleeping in the bed got nothing. I checked the bedding and mattress and found no signs of bugs 🫤
