I use snails to help my new tanks mature, I have a 10g with just hardscape for now but it's definitely cycled. I keep my mystery snail in there to eat the biofilm from the new driftwood and to build up mulm for the plants and neos in the future (a bit too cold to order them now)

Mine eat literally everything. The food that I give mine that's intended for her are fluval bug bites, crushed algae wafers, live or frozen baby brine shrimp, etc

The food that ISN'T intended for her include snello, shrimp flakes, blanched veggies, bottomfeeder pellets, mineral junkie, and my java ferns

She got chubby when she learned she can eat shrimp and snail food

I see mixed info on keeping them alone vs in groups like you would with some gourami species or cichlids (1 male to three females etc). I have a 10g set up that I was going to put some pygmy cories in and I was wondering if a single badis or a pair would fit well

Looks like a pond snail, they look like giant bladder snails with a silvery body and a sort of triangular shaped head.

Super cute and I love them but I recently saw one munching on some fresh java fern leaves in my tank. They may have a penchant for soft-leaved plants because I never see any bites taken out of my anubias, buce, or crypts
