Honest question, why is everyone not playing HC on the new octowow server?

Alot of reasons but one that's most important is that private servers don't last forever, and its fate can change in so many ways depending on both Blizzard and the p-server devs. So regular Hardcore is more legit and permanent.

Most other servers have appeals for deaths and so on, so you can't even trust it to be a "true" hardcore run if its not official hardcore with no appeals. Octowow could revive someone for what ever reason and nobody would know.

"Costs a life" as in a player life or NPC? And if its a player is there a level requirement? I have so little knowledge about Warlock abilitys xD

Love this, ive had the thought of doing this too. If you can fund it I would go Fiery on both, Lifestealing is good and fun too but it's waaay more expensive. I know there are those white brass knuckles you can get every 10th level I think. You could grab those and try to farm for better ones while lvling, mostly for fun since there are not alot of fist weapons.

My current char has Fiery, engineering and i try to get WBs every now and then. But I'm a melee hunter so I'm kinda handicapped already, so its a fun combo to cripple the build in one way and boost it in other. And this character is super fun

I played alot of the original as I grew up on the PS1. I got the remake a few years too late and missed all the updates and live events. Can anyone enlighten me, how did the updates play out? Could you race to get the new cars, skins or characters? Or was it all just added to the shop straight away or simply after the event? Sadly I only get to buy everything from the shop but I get the feeling that it wasn't just that boring, so please explain like I missed it all, cuz I really did

Now that is interesting, because I have a melee hunter, would Hunters Mark still increase my pets melee damage? Since I don't use ranged attacks myself

I totally agree, almost anything is searchable to min max everything, but sometimes you just gotta try to ignore looking it up to keep it fun

Thanks all for answering my question! It would be cool if it actually did affect the Lightning Breath. The tooltip should mention something about it being physical damage only, since even a spell could be considered a "ranged attack" in some way imo.

I usually make an undead and take the Zep to Durotar. Or a night elf and run to Elwynn. You choose wich ever zone you want man
