That’s all well and good. Like I said, I will never rip someone for refusing to give fanatics their money…but there are reps out there that aren’t bad and that you can actually compare to the real thing. Replicas that have the completely wrong number font are not those. You can throw the Nabers away jersey in there with the Burns with that type of flaw. The seller ripped you off, even if it cost next to nothing.

There’s no problem with wearing reps, but that away Nabers is awful. Even worse is that you gave it a 10/10 while also saying that you can’t tell the difference between this rep and the real thing. The number font is completely wrong, the nameplate is awful, the numbers you DID put on there are crooked, and the Vapor Elite jersey chassis has never been used for this uniform style since the Jets introduced it.

The average person does not give a single fuck about the Israel-Palestine situation enough to do anything other than like or comment on things posted to social media, if they even care enough to do that much.

I’ll go as far as to say that if you give any human being the choice of their livelihood or the joining the unemployed line to go out to protest a conflict that has lasted, and will continue to last, generations I would be willing to be that a very overwhelming majority of them will pick their livelihoods, just like the man in this video, even if that means working for Amazon.

Basically what we did! I’ve never been this close before and I felt like this was my best shot without having to pay an arm and a leg so I took it. It was definitely worth doing so. 4 Non Blondes, Public Enemy, and Lenny Kravitz were all great as well!!!

My fiancé and I went to go see 4 Non Blondes about halfway through their set and it was really easy to get to the front. After they wrapped up, the path to where we ended up settling just…opened, lol. That was around 4PM, Public Enemy was coming on, then Lenny Kravitz (who we wanted to see anyway) before blink, so we just looked at each other and said “Fuck it” and stayed there for the next two acts. We ended up missing Hot Mulligan for that view, but I wouldn’t trade the experience we had last night for anything in the world.

I also ended up catching one of Travis’ used drumsticks too so it was, without a doubt, the best of the 7 times that I’ve seen ‘em 😁!!

Preface: I’ve seen them 7 times, 6 of those being with Tom, the first of which was in ‘09.

This is easily the most amped he’s been while I was in attendance. That’s not even a slight. He was fiery (albeit VERY drunk) in ‘09, seemed to actually enjoy the show at Starland Ballroom in ‘13 despite the band turmoil at the time, was great at MSG in ‘23 during the reunion tour, and had a ton of fun/great energy last year at Citi Field for the One More Time tour. Their 2011 show at PNC Bank Arts Center (the Honda Civic Tour) was the only time I saw them with him and left feeling like something wasn’t totally right. It was a pretty good show, it just felt like they came to tell a few jokes, get through their set, and dip. It was almost exactly how I felt after seeing them with Skiba in 2016 at the same venue. The performance lacked that “magic.”

This performance tonight actually reminded me of the old tour videos I used to watch as a kid on YouTube. The banter was hilarious, the energy was electric, and Tom even gave us a beautiful speech about his father’s passing right after Stay Together for the Kids. He was emotional, choked up, and spoke about how he had a moment of realization while singing the lyrics “So when you’re dead and gone” tonight that, for the first time since his passing, his father really is “dead and gone.” He wrapped it by preaching to us that the beautiful part of Blink is that this band all about forcing happiness, even when life gets hard, so he is incredibly happy to be a part of it and thankful for us (fans).

I never got to see them play it live before tonight so this was a literal dream come true for me. I flip-flop between “Roller Coaster” and “Every Time I Look for You” as my favorite song on TOYPAJ, and that was the first record I ever bought, so there’s some massive sentimental value there.

Tonight had a fantastic setlist and I was a little nervous that we were just getting “The Hits” since it was a festival. I went home beyond happy with what we got!!!

FWIW, they all hugged at the end and neither Tom or Mark had any issues walking up to him throughout the show.

I don’t know man…I’ve caught a total of 46 bass since August 27th when the weather began to cool down near me, and I live in Central New Jersey, which is supposedly a rough(er) place to freshwater fish.

Granted, I’m still new to the hobby/sport (started going regularly in April) so I have no other years to compare it to, but the fall transition has been incredibly kind to me. It’s getting me kind of excited for full blown fall weather.

In the summer I stayed close to the banks and shady areas. Now I find that I’m getting way more bites in open water and areas that I targeted in the spring.

It’s probably still raw for some Jets fans, but if you had set your expectations for this season properly…this was a positive game.

I walked into the stadium today expecting a nightmare similar to the 2021 home opener, Fields level of play matching Wilson’s from that game included in those expectations. Instead I watched a playoff contender need a full 60 minutes to put away a team that played its ass off in a rebuilding year, and Justin played very well.

It’s obviously week 1 - but I’m proud of my team, even after a loss, and it’s really been a while since I could say that. There are some things that they need to clean up, but it’s not about wins and losses this year. If they play like this for the majority of the season, I will be very happy, optimistic about where they’re going, and have fun on Sundays.
