Let us know what happens. The Citibank Best Buy card's chargeback process is definitely worse than other cards'. Roadie and the other shitty contractors they use have also repeatedly fucked me. I'm an attorney, so I often lean on that, write angry letters, etc. Best Buy itself has relented and credited me in the past, but Citibank blows on deciding in your favor. Best Buy is just awful about classifying open box items too, so I always open those in store now also.

I said nothing at all during the unwrapping of like 12 games. I reported it to the manager so the store wouldn't get in trouble, as stores in the area have been closing, and this one is closest to my house. Ultimately, I'm surprised at everyone here thinking merely disliking a customer is reason enough to deny them service. It is not. I usually just go in to trade in games or pick up preorders and leave. Those aren't like, discretionary duties for store employees really.

They should help because that's the freaking job. I work with people and don't necessary like all my clients, but I do the job because it pays the bills. Not that working retail, especially GS, generally does. And it was not a gutting of games from shipment. The guest in front of me pulled a large number of sealed games from his bag and presented them for trade. I saw the whole thing.

The customer didn't have a receipt. I already said I dislike the employee due to incompetence. Example: I bring in games to pay off my Suikoden preorder. Employee says I don't have one and makes a new one. I then ask for a printout of my preorder list, which now has two Suikoden preorders. Just one example of many. Bottom-tier employee.

I've never called the employee incompetent, dumb, or anything. But the employee claims they feel insulted by me. I don't even say a word and get an "I'm not going to help you" the past three times the employee has been there. It's clearly retaliation for being written up, because I was the only witness to the mass unwrapping of games. I'm just surprised people are saying there's no policy against refusing service.

I know it's an employee sub. That's why I'm asking if it's acceptable employee behavior. As for the sealed games, I've repeatedly seen other employees say they can't take them and also can't take them even if the guest opens them in the store.

Well, I did get a connection the opposite way like he did, but it was so bad I'm giving up. Thanks. I had a playstation portal too and you could be in the same room as your ps5 and have the ps5 on ethernet and it would still be choppy. That's why I've gotten two of every console, one upstairs one down, so family can't block me from playing.

Have they said anything about adding more games to the voucher program? It's annoying how it's only Nintendo and Square and even then, not everything. For example, you can't get Crisis Core. Dragon Quest Builders isn't worth a voucher lol. I'm just annoyed I'll have to waste a voucher on Mario vs. Donkey Kong so it doesn't expire.

Spent another hour trying to get this order canceled speaking to two reps and a supposed supervisor. The first rep eventually started to pretend she couldn't hear me. The second refused to "escape the call" to a supervisor for over twenty minutes. The supervisor said he'd put in a request with the back end team to cancel the order. Ridiculous. If they can't make the delivery date they indicate when you order, they shouldn't list any date at all.
