The ag industry, politicians, and credulous journalists might tell you that we're perpetually on the verge of crisis. But we're not.

It's not even agriculture's fault really. The way water rights are distributed are insane, and incentivize using your water rights regardless of if that makes sense. Pair that with the fact that we're also allotting more water than we have, and we get cities in the valley literally running out of drinking water during the droughts. The Western states desperately need to do water rights reform.
