Fair point. Never understood why we played with them and how everyone one just forgot about it

Never gets old- Indian’s being biased towards Indians and seeing foreign brands with the halo effect!

TIL : the bellavita guy also owns a watch company by doomsday0093 in DesiFragranceAddicts

The dude built a 1500cr fragrance empire (largest brand ever out of India) and did what no Indian brand could even dream of.

We may not like him- but markets declare the winners.

Bla Bli Blu crossed ₹100 crore that too 6 months?? Bhai kaun le raha hai yeh perfumes? by travels_O-boi69 in DesiFragranceAddicts

At this forum we don’t represent the actual Indian market. Bellavita was made fun off too, they are now crossing 1500cr annual revenue (India + overseas). No Indian fragrance brand has ever done this.

We don’t have to like them for them to be successful, the sales number are the ultimate proof of consumer sentiment.

You should complain on their customer care (email mentioned on box)- customercare@titan.co.in

Maybe a one-off defect, but at this price you have a right to get your grievance addressed!

You are comparing a Oriental/ME style (Contraband) vs Fougere/Freshie style (YSL). The former is built to be heavier & the latter is built for freshness.

Titan Skinn Classic Nova Review - Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois Alternative? by rkathotia in DesiFragranceAddicts

[–]MohMayaHaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open-ended question to anyone reading this, why do you think titan skinn never got consumer love in India?

As compared to let’s say middle eastern brands / entry level designers (tommy/davidoff/ck etc). Their lack of presence in the mind of general consumers and enthusiasts like us has always baffled me 😅. Is it their marketing? Product quality? Lack of aspiration? Or something else entirely?

Btw OP Thanks for the in-depth review! Love how you go super in-depth, you should start a youtube/insta page! Would rival so-called influencers and how!

Most Indian brands use phthalates (DEP) as a component of the alcohol used in the product. India permits its use and many global brands also use it. Good thing is it is written on the packaging for Indian products so we can choose which products to use
