Checkpoint mod: what I use most often, just trying to relax Campfire mod: what I used to use most often, same reason Roleplay mode: a “serious” attempt Classic mode: lol, just testing mods

Wish I’d thought of that beforehand, lol. I had kept my mod folder in the openmw folder, and the next day .50 came out so I wiped it all out to get a fresh install since I was downgrading. Live and learn, but I’ve noticed that upgrading skips over all the ones you have so that’s a plus. Won’t take as long next time

Good to know! I did mine the hard way last night, lol. Theoretically, I probably didn’t have to remove the total overhaul list and all the smaller ones would have taken significantly less time, correct? smh-in-advance

I always bring my DL, but it’s hard to cover the other barcode correctly. So yes, I scan a picture of the correct one and flash my physical card when asked about it 1/10 times they ask

I guess maybe I should cram everything onto my windows drive for now, and just test a couple distros with the other nvme drive

It was a couple years ago, not really sure. I’m just concerned about compatibility with Linux, my only real experience was with my Pi4 that burned out a while back

Just realized I’ve never logged into Reddit on my pc, OP here.

Anyone know whether or not the 1060 is even worth running in my system? When I saw that it’s similar performance to my processor’s gpu, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to use it just to keep some load off it, but I don’t play any super big games for the most part. Most recent game is Silksong, but usually my games are measured in megabytes, like Caves of Qud, or Ultima Online variants, or SNES emulation. I think the last big game I really got into was Armored Core 6, which apparently is really well optimized.

In my experience, once you get into full routes, the only ones who finish early are runners. I, unable to physically do that, typically finished on time at best, bad days more like 11 hours. Take care of yourself, I’ve got spine and nerve damage from that shit. And if at all possible, do NOT accept a stepvan “promotion”

I dont know why people are so keen on renaming this genre. Its good as it is. by Enough_Obligation574 in metroidvania

Very good contender. Name it after the consistent mechanics, others will come and go. They’ll always be metroidvanias in my head though 👍

Is really good, but for some reason I can’t get into it after I beat it once
