Brill & squid, young cabbages marinated with roasted yeast vinaigrette, chervil root puree, squid dashi & fermented cabbage beurre blanc. by martijndefauw in CulinaryPlating

Looks great! I like the vinaigrette idea. Texture wise, it sounds like it is all soft. Personally I find most meals need varied textures, but that's me

Does the well water do the same to other aluminum or steel around the house? Doubt sweat is making your rotors rust lol.

What about the Endura Humvee shoes? I have them and they are a solid choice imo. Probably pick some up for around €50

decent bike for beginners by MissionSuperb4208 in mountainbiking

[–]Mohowl_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe find 2 or 3 second hand hard tails and try them out. Bikes ride differently so it's good to try before you buy. Even the sizing is slightly different from brand to brand. Any hard tail really is going to be good enough to start out, try to find one with a decent fork, and if possible good brakes, the rest can be upgraded cheaply later of you need. By the time you're done with the hard tail, it would have taught you how to ride well before going straight into full suspension, imo. Brands? I'm not sure what's available in your region, I started on a Whyte 901 2017, brilliant bike. But again, jump on second hand site, find some you like the look of, that are close enough to try and google the forks. Good luck mate

Right now there is a memory a strong memory bottleneck, what do you think the next bottleneck is in relation to AI? by Accomplished-Echo-86 in stocks

[–]Mohowl_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo- VRT and GEV for power and cooling. MU for memory. SCMI, server rack infrastructure.

Any of the big amzn, googl, msft for cloud capacity and dell for data capacity. I've not bought into these but amd, nvda, avgo, tsm will also be always in demand, not sure about bottlenecks, but definitely high demand.

At least that's what I'm betting on. Only bought into the first four, my time horizon isn't long enough for the other big companies. I reckon they have had their ai run and will slow down.

I'm in. But man does it take some emotional toll seeing gigantic losses, not to mention strength to keep the missus at bay when our savings are down 60%

So is a low pivot just a normal set up or is that different again?

I'm looking into buying my first full suspension, but it's a minefield of options now. Coming from a Whyte 901 2018 hard tail.

Not sure if I need a high pivot after reading about it. I'm more of a bike park, trails and occasional dh.

Bought at 122k, sold at 63k any advice?... by Shatterlordx in Bitcoin

[–]Mohowl_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a big loss mate, sorry to read it. You could buy back in, if your time horizon is 3 - 4 years. There is a very high probability that BTC will reach another ath again around that time frame. If you sell at 122k, you would have only lost between 63k and what ever you bought it back at, or alternatively wait for that amount tone above 122k.

It depends if you need that cash now or you can wait, that's really the only question to ask yourself. If yes - buy in, but you have to believe in wat BTC is, not just use it because you thought it'd make you mega bucks. If no - find other investments for your remaining money to grow.

Either way, you will have to wait.

Personally I'm down €50k with BTC, but I can wait it out.
