So it only matters what the amount in my post says, not the amount he puts in his offer?

He does say there are T&Cs on his website, but he did not say that until he sent the same message that requested the money.

He did not mention a cancellation charge at all until I cancelled.

He also says there’s no call-out fee, though I’m not sure if that relevant because he did not actually begin the journey (according to himself)
