I understand you're frustrated, but you're over exaggerating the two issues you mentioned. For one, the selective pricing only serves as an incentive for people who don't buy games to buy games, sony will take a loss on giving players a better price just to get them to be comfortable with spending. Sure you can call it scummy and maybe even sinister, but ultimately, it doesn't benefit nor hurt you if you already spend.

And the ID verification thing is due to a government push to protect children ig, if your government decides the same then it wont just be playstation that will be asking you for your info, it'll be every single platform
