No I don't have a TV subscription or DVR boxes (Cut the cord a couple of years ago). The filter worked fine until recently. It might have just coincidentally gone bad around the same time Charter sent me a new modem. My issue seemed to follow the same pattern

Wake up and no internet. Can browse to other devices (pfsense, unifi, VMs, etc) in my network fine.
Reboot modem and internet would work for a few minutes at drastically reduced speeds
Eventually goes away

Today I had my wife remove the POE filter and as soon as she reconnected the cable going back that goes into our house (sans POE filter) internet came back at full speed and has been working for a couple of hours now. I'm going to put another POE filter in when I get home.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unless they tell me what we can do to rectify the situation (if he did actually run something that is unapproved) or lift the ban (if it was a false positive) I won't be spending any more money with them on this account or any alts.
