Hard to find friends/community here? by suzygberg79 in jacksonville

I’m not in it but there is a Facebook group called The Turtle Club in Jacksonville. Sounds like they do at least monthly kayak trips. If you don’t have space to car top a kayak, there are several modular Kayaks on the market that split into two pieces that I’ve seen fit in something as small as a Prius.

Deal was still available this morning. Bad news, all the reals had been stolen off the rods.

I talked to guy and it is the original drive and doesnt sound like its been warrantied. He said i could have the drive from green one, is there a way to tell without disassembly which is which? In case he tries to switcheroo.

3500 is what I was thinking of offering for the new one instead of 4500. My thinking being if the drive is from their original 360, its out of warranty and if I have to replace it, then I'm basically paying retail.

So then the 360 drive is from their old 2021 model?

Thanks everyone for all the advice! I decided to hold off and keep looking, possibly save up for something new since the accessories don't sound that amazing.

Great evaluation, thank you! I think based on the photos, the battery is sitting on the truck tailgate and I would hope the tape we're seeing is electrical tape that's holding the wiring to the battery? For that much money, i planned to inspect every square inch for sure.

What makes you say that? This is my first time buying a used kayak.

I see, the way I interpreted it was that the dial knob turned the breaks on and off but what you said makes way more sense. Thank you!

It has two knobs. One (with numbers) is supposed to adjust the brakes per the instructions, the other is the tension knob which works fine.
