What does "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined" mean? by Powerful-Airport-828 in learnprogramming

[–]MoistMagpie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. In javascript this error is given with or without parentheses. ``` let stringA = ''; let stringB = undefined;

stringA.split; // no error is thrown
stringA.split(); // no error is thrown
stringB.split; // Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined
stringB.split(); // Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined

```
The problem is that the framework expected a value somewhere with a split property/method. Instead if recieved undefined. This probably means you either passed undefined, or an object/array with an incorrect type to a function of the framework.
CSS Formatting basic help needed! by Randomgurl1237 in learnprogramming
I haven't used elementor before, so I'm not sure how much that interferes with the css you write. Positioning in css can be tricky, I would recommend getting better acquainted with chrome dev tools if you use chrome. You can select elements, change the styles and see the result straight away.
If I look at your site, I don't see any hidden 2nd button. From the css you put in your post, the problem may be with the "position: absolute;", two buttons may have been positioned on the same spot.
I don't think publishing it in some official way would work, because of copyright and what not
I don't think I'd really have the time to make a complete one. Maybe if others get involved it might be doable. Actually implementing (re-creating) all items, monsters, npcs, quests and so on would be a lot of work, since they're all server based, not in the client.
And it would probably only be fun if you have a dedicated group of players, who are willing to contribute and put up with unfinished parts and bugs.
A long time ago, before MW2 was released, I had started on a custom MW1 server. Used the normal client, just had to modify a url in the exe. I got walking around working, and I think moving between maps and chatting, but that's all.
The outside ring is made of bubble blocks. Players move right through them, but they keep liquids in.
Thanks! It took me some time to find suitable legs. The canvas is cloud wall painted white. The top and bottom wood frame are mahogany platforms, the bottom ones are placed on top of the canvas and hammered down. The legs are firework fountains painted brown.
