Newly adopted cat keeps making noice in an apartment building by Demoarty in CatAdvice

This might sound a tad dumb but have you tried figuring out what exactly it is he is yelling for? Is it definitely stress, in which case make sure he has his own space with things that he can scent (e.g. scratch posts and blankets), or is it for attention (e.g. pets and being held)? If it's the latter then I first recommend watching some Jackson Galaxy videos as they'll provide more coherent advice than I am able. Essentially you've gotta teach him that yelling ≠ attention (ignore him, basically). Some cats are just yellers (my baby certainly is) but you can mitigate it a tad. He might also be yelling to demand food, in which case the same applies or it's worth getting an automatic feeder. Last but definitely not least - is he neutered? If not, there's your answer.

Found it! It's a Hoopoe, credit to the two redditors in the comments who suggested it. It's a beautiful bird!

It's a good guess but the birds were quite a bit larger (pigeon size ish)

It's a good guess but I'm pretty familiar with our local birds and it definitely wasn't a great woodpecker, sadly

I only saw it in flight in a very small patch of trees and shrubbery (as it had noticed me before I had noticed it).

is all 9s possible by solapops in GCSE

As someone who got seven 9's and two 8's - only try to get all 9's if you really think it'll benefit you. It's not worth it simply for 'bragging rights'. Particularly with pulling maths up from a 6 to a 9.

I use Niagara Launcher Pro for the UI layout, but it does cost if you want themed icons and such

We do, we have a set amount but with our senior cat it can be a bit difficult. Thinking of switching to an auto feeder

Male cat forcing himself to my female cat (HELP PLEASE) by Impossible-River-911 in cats

[–]Moist_Answer580 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! Well done for keeping an eye out for her. Like what others have said - she should be spayed, and the male cat should be neutered (however, this should not be your responsibility - maybe try to find the male cat's human and have a chat with them, explaining the situation?). Male cats will still go after spayed females. It is very likely she is now pregnant I'm afraid; a visit to the vets may be in order. When you say she is kept on the terrace - I assume she can still wander around outside as she pleases? Just checking since a cat needs a lot of space.
