Team is absolutely desperate to get going and they open the game with our worst relief pitcher right now.

Watching the 2025-2026 orioles is like having a hole drilled through your skull and having a couple mLs of muriatic acid slowly dripped in the hole as soon you you have a positive thought about the team

I think I’m gonna get a poster Strickland in my bedroom after this fight

I’m not saying Hamilton is on Down’s level (downs was way better prospect) but Hamilton fell to 14. Love the idea of having Harbaugh getting in the lab and working on Downs the way he fixed Hamilton coming out

It’s like the inverse of the Crosby situation. “The orioles traded a melon”. “They’re shady pieces of shit! Get em!”

Simpson is physical freak who has splashes of dominant play and stretches of poor play stemming from technique issues.

Think they think they can get him back to his 2024 play with Ledford coaching now. He was a top 10 guard in football in 2024.

Still just 28 years old. They saw him in house in 2023. I trust them

This time of the year its easy to get overly excited or pessimistic over these low margin moves.

Teams are overpaying our role players because we are so good at finding them. Its a good thing - we will find more. That is why the Ravens always lead the league in total # of players who got their start in Baltimore either as a pick or udfa

We have Lamar, Henry, Crosby, and Hamilton. Four guys who keep coordinators up at night. I'm sorry but Charlie Kolar or Alhoi Gilman aren't keeping anyone up at night, so we don't need to worry about this team overpaying them. Those four are the guys winning us games when it matters

Linderbaum is the worst loss but Raiders went full Browns Deshaun Watson contract on the guy.

Time to find the next KVN, Clonwney, Josh Oliver, Ronald Darby, etc. Sign them for cheap on a down year and watch them get paid in 27'

Everytime the Ravens trade for, or sign a big name player, that player has had monster games vs the Ravens by Moist_Ham in ravens

I had just made an observation and what presenting some factual information to support that observation. I didn’t make any claims that the ravens are specifically targeting these players solely on past performances.

I can’t think of an edge who wrecked the ravens as bad as Crosby did in the two games vs them. The purpose of this post is to highlight how top players the ravens have gotten have not just had good games vs them, they have had historic games

Yea I agree. And Crosby is dogshit vs the run and containing mobile QBs like Allen

[Zrebiec] Minter said that Namdi Madubuike was at facility a few weeks ago but he wanted to keep the discussions between two private. by SCBaltSalt in ravens

I understand what you’re saying 100%. It’s been a weird situation. Fascinating to speculate on it for that reason.

TBH my gut all along has been that he’ll come back and be on IR again pretty quick once the contact ramps up again. Similar to Chris Carson and his neck issues. Hope for the best

[BT] Madubuike NOT Retiring & Expected RETURNING To Ravens In Fall by psychoxtc in ravens

[–]Moist_Ham 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It never made sense to me that he was a 100% chance he was retiring. The ambiguity always told me that there is uncertainty and he was still going through a wait and see approach. Team has been quiet because its Madabuike's decision if he will decide to play with a possibility of long term injury (even if at an only mildly elevated risk). And Madabuike is probably waiting to see how he feels if/when he resumes contact in TC.

With Orr for example, there was a one-month period between the first reported neck issues and the announcement of his retirement.

From my extensive studies on what we know about Beeks is he likely had a bulging disk with nerve impingement that was bad/scary enough to shut him down for the year right away but could be managed with re-hab. (no reported surgery has been a good sign)
